Al-Sisi stresses with his Tunisian counterpart the need for all foreign forces to leave Libya

Today, Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed his support for the new Libyan government in order to work for the departure of foreign forces and mercenaries from the country to ensure the country’s restoration of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Al-Sisi, and during a joint press conference with his Tunisian counterpart Qais Saeed in Cairo, said: “We conducted intensive discussions and dealt with the developments of the Libyan crisis, and we confirmed our readiness to provide support to the new authority in order to enable it to hold the elections as scheduled and end foreign interference and the exit of all foreign forces and mercenaries to ensure their restoration. Its sovereignty and the guarantee of its territorial integrity.
